where a Buddha hasn't appeared and taught
- Mentally retarded, deaf, dumb, blind
- Having instinctive wrong views
- The 10 richnesses [Teachings]
- The 5 personal factors enriching our
lives
- Born as a human
- Living in central Buddhist region
- Having complete and healthy sense
and mental faculties
- Not having committed any of the
five 5 heinous actions; not doing actions against
the Dharma such as being a butcher.
- Having instinctive belief in things
worthy of respect: the Dharma, the value of ethics,
the path to enlightenment, etc.
- The 5 richnesses from society
- Living where and when a Buddha has
appeared
- Living where and when a Buddha has
taught the Dharma
- Living where and when the Dharma
still exists
- Living where and when there's a
sangha community following Buddha's teachings
- Living where and when there are
others with loving concern: patrons, teachers, so
we have clothes, food, other conditions to practice
- Considering the importance of a precious human
life [Teachings]
- From the viewpoint of temporary goals
- From viewpoint of ultimate goals
- In every moment our precious human life
is valuable
- Considering the difficulty of obtaining a precious
human life [Teachings]
- From the viewpoint of its causes (ethics,
practicing the other far-reaching attitudes, pure prayers
- From the viewpoint of analogies
- From the viewpoint of its nature, numbers
